Promenade is University of Sussex first unisex fashion magazine that is dedicated to fashion, arts and music. The publication was masterminded by Maddy Chambers and Alice Tew.
Having included features such as: Trawling Through Brighton Shops, Forties Fashion Affair, Winter Wonderland, Easy Rider photoshoot, The New Black: based on Coco Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent, Death On The Black Canvas, Flogs, Mens Fashion, On The Promenade, An Interview With An Insider: fashion photographer Sean Myers that have worked for ELLE Decorations, Grand Designs, British Fashion, Emmy The Great, Nimmo And The Gauntletts and My University Strife, Maddy wanted to create an eclectic and edgy answer to what Sussex University have wanted for time; a fashion publication that informs and inspires people on all things fashion in a more personal way. Produced by Sussex Fashion Society talented editorial team, Promenade aims to embrace the diversity of student style through providing a fresh and exciting platform for members to express their interests. The magazine looks to take readers behind the scenes to understand the way in which everything about fashion and arts work, in an innovative tone featuring interesting interviews and beautiful photoshoots.
